I received this postcard claiming I am eligible To extend my warranty, This postcard also stated my vehicle make and model showed a model of my vehicle Providing a record ID number. I decided to contact this company to set up an extended warranty after doing so they asked for a $500 deposit with $500 payments a month I stated I needed to call my mom for payment assistance via debit card, but after they would not hold or allow me to call back.... Seeming incredibly pushy I hung up. Then proceeded
I got a postcard in the mail stating that i did not contact them to have my vehicle protection activated. First of all i blocked out my phone number when i called in order to get their company name when they answered the call. They were not the company that i purchased my extended warranty from thru the dealership i purchased my car from. If you are not sure, call the dealership or company you purchased your vehicle from and they can verify your warranty status. I also noticed that on the botto
Today I received a text on my phone saying the same spiel others received. Must be cheaper than mailing a post card. I actually called the number where a recording said someone would be with me shortly. No company name given and I hung up immediately.
They are now blocked. Same old scam
I received a post in the mail claiming I needed to call by April 15th. I called out of curiosity. The first lady was friendly but the supervisor was rude and tried to tell me my warrenty didn't cover things that I knew it covered. I'm not certain, But I'm pretty sure this is just a scam.
Sent a card stating i needed to call to have my vehicle protection activated. That I needed their vehicle protection in order to ensure its continued safe operation. If I neglect to activate the program I will be paying for all repairs out of pocket. Notification date 3/22/21,, Expiration date 4/8/21. I didnt call the number after reading others comments. Thank you for posting this info for others to refer to.
I also received a post card warning me that if I fail to respond by 4/6/2021 my vehicle will be categorized as [High-Risk potential "Pre-Existing" conditions with mechanical or electrical issues on vehicle].
I was curious, So I called that number and they told me my vehicle was no longer covered by a service contract and they will renew it for $3993 less a $700 discount or $195 down and 18 payments of $172. 11 per month. At this point the person called in a manager who told me if I paid in full
I received a postcard stating I needed to have my vehicle protection activated. I thought it was a scam since the name on the post card says Chevrolet Owner and not my name. I am glad I looked up the number and read the comments. Confirming it’s a scam and don't call!
I bought a new car and I received a postcard stating I needed to have my vehicle protection activated. I thought it was a scam since the name on the post card says Toyota Owner and not my name. I am glad I looked up the number and read the comments. Confirming it’s a scam and don't call!
I just bought a new Chevrolet Trax, And received a postcard saying that I need response immediately or else my car will not be active in vehicle protection. It looks real from my car dealer. I called soon, And they told me to register my car in the vehicle insurance, Asking my credit card all information: card number and also the back number. The money $495 was transited immediately. Soon I got alerting email from my bank. I also felt very strange how the warranty needs my credit security number
Tried to call twice - to ask them to exclude me from future mailings - both calls dropped after a minute on hold. Sadly, I think holding may have given them MY number. Rats....
They are conning people by sending postcards with fake news of some warning about 'service contract expory'. I guess vehicle dealerships are selling the data illegally.
But they will try to scam you for apparent renewal of your service contract.
If you are reading this, YOu ALREADY ARE SMART! Do not fall for that
I received a mailer stating warranty on our 2010 Audi A4 2-OT Quattro Avante Prestige had expired. Oh well, That's ok since we've never owned any such vehicle! Also no company name anywhere on the mailer postcard. Only the telephone #: 1-888-678-XXXX. Will NOT call this #!!
Got a vague postcard in the mail telling me if I didn’t call them and speak with a service rep that my car would be recategorized as a status of [High-risk potential “Pre-existing” conditions with mechanical or electrical issues on vehicle]. No logo, Seal, Or company name so I’m taking this as mail spam. This number was the only identifying information on the card.
I received a mailer from a company trying to sell 'extended warranties' on vehicles. There is no name of the company sending the mailer. The mailer did NOT come from the manufacturer or an auto dealership.
