Orange card - stamp from Salem, UT - in the mail after registering an older car claiming that my vehicle's warranty expired.
Well, It expired a while ago because of the age of the car but I do have an extended warranty through the dealer.
Throw out and don't call. Definitely FRAUD!!!
These people are sending me a letter every week now. This is a scam. I don't know how or where they got my address when I purchased a new car.
They call themselves "Motor Vehicle Services" sometimes, Avoid these scam artists.
Bought a new vehicle in October, 2020. Immediatley these orange postcards show up in the mail with this number saying my car warrenty is about to expire. This is a scam.
This is why it always pays to look for credible sources on the internet regarding these things. This phone number was on some mail I received but it didn't mention who it was from. The previous comment when into plenty of detail so just AVOID CALLING THIS NUMBER and CONTACT AN AUTHORIZED DEALAR WITH QUESTIONS.
Received a card in the mail after I cosigned on a loan for a new vehicle for my partner. Not sure where they're getting this information from, But I'm not fooled. There's no clear indication of a company name on this card and I'm not giving them the satisfaction of knowing my phone number.
Extended warranties don't cover anything. Full coverage insurance and reputable dealer warranties, When kept in good maintenance, Do. Don't fall for this!
Got an "immediate response requured" paper in the mail. Had my address, Name and everything; even down to the model of the car. Looked official grammar was actually pretty decent too. (Usually that's the giveaway; bad grammar) what gave it away was the the fact it said Mr. Instead of Ms. And also the "repair service center" had CST and not EST as I live off the coast. Also the postal barcode if it had actually gone through USPS was in the wrong spot.
Kinda wanna call them just to XXXXX with them
Just transferred title to my name for my vehicle at the county clerk. Got my title in the mail several days later and the next day got an orange “notice” about size of a postcard in the mail saying VEHICLE ALERT NOTICE, Had the wrong owners name but had correct year and make of my vehicle. An “Owner ID” was a slo listed. The back gives a deadline to call and says the factory warranty is about to expire and to call the # within five days. Such a scam. Doesn’t say who the # belongs to, The vehicle
Very vague and suspicious car warranty in the mail with this phone number. "Time sensitive," "Urgent," to call them, Blah blah blah. The usual. Their card doesn't identify who the company is, Red flag number one of many. Avoid.
