Free caller ID

I aggravated a scammer ego called me back on this number. He said they were a financial institution that deals with collection of debts and if I paid my bills they wouldn't be calling me. Told him that my bills are all current and my credit is good so why then is he calling and giving me one reference #, my husband another ref# and my daughter a third one... All supposedly for 'legal papers to be served to me'. When I gave him the ref# I was given it wasn't even under MY name! Fraud!
