Got a letter in the mail claiming my 2023 Kia soul's service contract wasn't activated. Information is very accurate. But no return address. Thought it seemed sketchy. Still gonna call my dealer to let them know.
If you received a letter or postcard letting you to call this number immediately to activate the factory warranty for you vehicle, please don't hesitate to throw the letter or postcard into a TRASH BIN immediately.
Claimed to be from KIA and got all my public car information and matched it to my address. Be wary of how accurate the information may seem, the number is still a scam
Claimed to be from Hyundai and got all my public car information and matched it to my address. Be wary of how accurate the information may seem, the number is still a scam
I wish the guy would have given me their business name or address. It is a huge scam. They say my warranty is expired, but it is a new car with less than 5, 000 miles. They also say I bought my car at a dealership that I have never been to.
Sent me an urgent-looking letter to call this number, but no return address, identifying information, or specific details. Clearly a scam meant to scare people into responding.
Brought brand new car, got the letter with this number. The thing is my full name and home address on there and my car brand and model is correct. So scary.
Scam selling fake warranties. Claimed to be from Hyundai on one call, then from Mercedes on another. Won’t give any info and hang up once you ask if this is a scam or for any info. Phone companies are doing nothing to stop them - they support this scammer by allowing them to continue to call.
When I was on the phone with them, I told them that we didn't own the type of car that the letter said then they asked me what kind of car we actually had so I told them. Then after that they went on to talk about plans for the car or whatever and so I eventually hung up. I was confused because I looked at the letter and there was no company name anywhere so I looked up the number online to see if there was a company with that number and so I got some results talking about how this was a scam.
I received a notice by physical mail saying that I need to call them before 1st DEC 2022 else, the warranty on my Car would expire & I will be responsible for any further situations. They have generated a Customer ID for me as well & they mentioned the exact car make (Volvo) & model that I am using today. I called them back & asked them if they are the "Vehicle Service Department" from Volvo. I insisted on this several times but their concentration was about what CARD I would use to pay. When I
Came from a letter sent to my home. Claims to hold you liable for any damages in your car after your “warranty expires”.
I don’t have the car they claim I have anymore. This is a scam number. Stay safe out there.
Are these scammers stupid, why would my 2021 vehicle with a 3 year warranty expire before the 3 years, plus I have an extended warranty from the maker of the vehicle for another 3 years. They also try to convince me that my warranty is about to expire on my 2006 van that the trade in value is only $700. 00. Every time I talk to one of these dummies they have a foreign accent. And they sound like the same ones that try to lower my credit card interest (which I got rid of all my CC) and lower my A
Scum bag scammers send these post cards every month. A fun game to play is to drop them into mail boxes hundred of miles away to see if it returns. Too fake to have a return address.
Didn’t get a call but a mail notice of car warranty (with picture of my new car) needed to be registered to continue the warranty. It was from the “Service Department” and I needed to call to make appointment to activate the warranty. Failure to do so would invalidate my warranty. This is a new spin on scam.
I received an “official” “time sensitive” “final notice” to secure my pricing for my “Extended Vehicle Service Plan” or EVSP for my 2019 Ducati Superleggera
I’ve never owned a bike… shredded
I guess since I've been hanging up on them, they decided to send me an official-ish looking pink postcard in the mail to my home. My husband thought it was real. I assured him that it is not. I do not have any warranty on my vehicle, it's old. You can't cancel something that doesn't exist folks! Thank goodness for sites like this. Mamma didn't raise no dummy.
I'm also getting mail from them saying my Cadillac CT5 warranty is going to expire if, I do not contact them. I do not and never have owned that vehicle. I wouldn't mind to have one, but I do not. Stay away!
This is spam via US mail.,4 times saying my warranty on Kia Rio is going to expire. What's up with their bull? I do not and never have owned a Kia Rio. What are they trying to gain? Thank you!
I got several pieces of mail from this outfit. I'm not fond of the notion they have my address. I'm fairly certain my credit isn't yet strong enough for someone to take out a loan in my name to buy a 2014 Fiat 500. But I found it odd that they sounded urgent about the warranty for my 2014 Fiat 500 is due to expire in 5 days. I don't own a Fiat. The only Fiat I ever owned was right after I graduated high school. (Back in the 1980s lol). There's a really reason for it. That car had a one track min
Got a pink letter saying I should call their number, the guy on the phone said they are partnered with Mitsubishi and sell extended factory coverage, scam
Received this pink postcard size card saying "Price Increase Notification". They knew my name and the make, model, and year of my car. This could be very deceiving for some. There is no company name on the card. There is only the phone number to contact them. Please do not fall for this scam!
SCAM.
1. No company name provided
2. My car is still under FACTORY warranty, but they are trying to trick me into thinking it's not.
3. They got my car year WRONG.
They are scammers. Please don't fall for this.
SCAMMERS!!! Only 5 days left to extend my warranty(that expired about 5 years ago!!) Plus had year of my vehicle wrong. Card they sent doesn't even have the name of the company they supposedly represent.
Called multiple times regarding an "expiring warranty" on my car. Sent a card with my first and last name through the mail with the number as well saying it would expire in 5 days... Except the year of the car was wrong and I had just called my dealership directly to confirm they weren't affiliated.
Sent a card with this number my first and last name and said my warranty will expire in 5 days. I don’t own the car they said I do and never have owned it or one like it.
Calls me billions of times talking about my warranty asking for money. After I told them I was busy they tried to keep me on the phone and told me I only have til today to pay for my warranty, and asking for my payment info. Be careful guys. They knew my address, first and last, and my make and model of my car. Almost seems legit.. But luckily I didn’t end up falling for it
Just got the same letter in the mail. I honestly would have fallen for it had they not sent it in my name and my car is in my husband’s name. Although it would t have mattered. There’s no way I’d give them my payment info.
They mail to me letter warranty car scam plain payment scam but not use mail and not use phone about warranty about plain payment month but I don't accpect it
Just got a letter in mail. On pink paper stating my extended warranty is going to end that I need to call the 888 number. Then it's copy signed by a Todd Droege.
What a croc of XXXXX this is I have extended warranty but not they this guy doesn't even give you the companies name
Fake bullcrap!
Sacm scam scam scam scam
Attempted to contact in regards of my “warranty expiring” and I got ahold of them, they asked my approval number. I gave it to them and they hung up on me……
Received fraudulent mailer claiming to be affiliated with my vehicles warranty. No website, no email address, just this phone number... And a Spanish-speaking line so they can scam our Spanish-speaking friends.
Received mailer stating my warranty on my 2020 Jeep is expiring. This is my final notice! Ummm I have factory warranty and it isn’t even 3 yrs nor 36000 miles yet sooooo I don’t think I’m falling for that XXXXX! I just hope some fool doesn’t fall for this!
People if you have a car you purchased through an auto dealer, before you get scammed, call your auto dealer they will let you know if your warranty is about to expire.
It’s scam, received a letter telling me my warranty expired, they know my name, my address and my car make, wounding how did they get my information, maybe from the insurance since they are the only one who know this details.
Sent a post card saying I must call the above number to avoid expiration of a car warranty on a car I NEVER OWNED. I also got a voicemail from them stating if I dont, I am fully responsible for paying for any repairs to this car (again...I never owned a buick)
Scammers trying to come across as a representative of the original manufacturer. Claimed they have no address or email. My truck is 6 months old. I took out the manufacturers extended warranty when I bought it brand new. Don’t even bother calling if you get a bogus letter from them in the mail.
Continue to receive a "Final Notice" letters with this number to call. Also received a call and a message was left stating that they could not understand why I had not called. I do not play in to the guilt trip thing.
