Cara left a message about a federal Student Loan with a reference number. So I called it back and it’s the same as the others. It didn’t even ring it was answered immediately and the man I talked to didn’t ask for any reference number and I was rude because I’ve never had a student loan I paid for all of mine when I went and had a scholarship. This is a total scam!

I got exactly the same message as described by someone below. “Yes hi this is Cara I'm just calling in reference to your federal student loan um I just need to discuss with you your repayment options with some new changes that _⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ affect recently um so if you could just be sure to give me a call back my number is 866-566-2549 and I'm going to give you a student code if you could just have that handy when you call back that be great um your code is 777 so I do hope to hear from you s

I have been given the same student call. This appears to be a scam. Cara calls about repayment options regarding a student loan.

If you call them back. There are guys who would answer the phone call and they would just say student services but does not mention anything about which company they are from. They answer right away.

This is a scammer saying she is calling about your student loan. But it's a lie because I haven't had a student loan in over 40 years!
