Says it's a number from the county of San Diego but each time I answer there is only silence... Then if you try and call it back it says again it's the county of San Diego and cannot receive call backs wth how in the heck am I supposed to speak with anyone about my case this way.. And how about my supposed worker who I call her number and her number has not been activated yet it says to hit the operator dial 0 and then it hangs up on you???? Hmmm?
My BF got a call from this number claiming to be from the County of SD Health & Human Services regarding an application for EBT he submitted and asked for the app to be expedited. I told him it sounds like a scam because HHSA doesn’t call on the weekends, It was Saturday. THIS DOES NOT SOUND LEGIT TO ME as being from SD County gov't agency. Why did they use a last name that I haven't had for 35 years? After saying that, she used the correct name and wanted my date of birth AND last four of my SSN. When I said I wasn't comfortable because she used the wrong last name, she got snippy and said "you'll get a letter in the mail" and literally hung up on me before I could say anything. Not spam at all. It doesn't automatically take you to a person but eventually you will. And most people are waiting and expecting this call so this should really be taken down as spam.
Asked for the last 4 digits of my SS#. I laughed at her so she game me a number to call that would answer any questions. It was for a EDT card. Probably a scam.
Received 2 calls from this number this morning. One on my cell, Leaving a voicemail of one simple "hello". One on home phone with a series of hello's. If I didn't know any better, I would think that the person hadn't realized that voicemail has engaged.
