I called this number thinking I was calling paypal credit, however I had entered the wrong # (meant to call 4961). They asked for my checking or savings account # in order to process a refund to my paypal account, which was clearly a RED FLAG. Scammers, for sure and when I was adamant there was NO WAY I was giving them this type of information, they hung up.
I copied this comment from a previous person’s comment because the exact thing happened to me.

I called the wrong number to cancel a charge to my account. They were acting like I had called PayPal. They wanted credit card information to credit my account. I asked why they needed information that they should already have. They asked for a different credit card to credit the amount. I asked for someone that spoke better English. She got angry and said she was speaking English. I asked for a supervisor she said she was the supervisor. She got angry and hung up.
