Caution
Claimed to be a company hired by Comcast. Calling me about unreturned equipment. Wanted my account number, which I refused to give since they were calling me and should have that information. I then called Comcast's 800 number and was told that the supposed subcontactorc s not affiliated with Comcast. Surprised that nothing has been done about this scam since the stories reported here are similar to mine and go back years.

Same as everyone else. “A to Z services” called about Comcast equipment which I actually had an issue with in the past (which I resolved) so I humored the lady. When she wanted me to verify via text or email I didn’t give her the info and just hung up on her. Don’t give them info. They’re likely trying to get into your account.

He said they are calling from Comcast/Xfinity about my equipment. Asked about email and phone number and I told him he was breaking up. He said thank you. Then he hung up. And I immediately received an xfinity code from my two-step verification to log into my account. Obviously this person is trying to log into my account.

Just got a call from this number. She said she was calling from A to Z services on behalf of xfinity. When I asked about the company she said she needed to talk to her supervisor... Then silence.

Similar call. They said they are calling from Comcast/Xfinity about my equipment and want me to give them my account number. She was slick in her communication. When I wouldn't give her my account number, She put me on hold "to verify the security information another way". She then dropped the call.
