This was an ID theft attempt call. The heavy Pakistani accent caller claimed to be with the fraud department of “the bank”, claiming a laptop was just purchased on my debit card – they then try to get your cc # and bank account & routing number. You could hear others in the background pulling the same scam on other people. I told him the call was being recorded and mentioned the police and he said he didn’t care.
