Didn’t answer but had a similar call within 30 minutes of each other.

I hope International Police communities really look into this type of scam. Not fun.

Pretend to be a call from the government

Said that my SIN # had illegal activity and a warrant was out for my arrest. I don't live where this came from.

Scam number. Tries to tell you your social security number has been suspended.

I received a call from ‭+1 (800) 622-6287‬ to inform me that I’m going to be arrested if I don’t speak with them. They were impersonating the Canadian government.

Don’t answer but if you do don’t push any buttons. Blocking for me doesn’t seem to work they just call from new #. They call me everyday, I’m fed up with it saying it’s the social insurance office, Sometimes saying it’s the Canada Revenue office and I will go to jail and court if I don’t get ahold of them. Don’t fall for it, If you feel their is any problem at hand with Income Tax, Rev. Canada, IRA, GST or CERB call CRA directly or the IRA if you live in the USA.

I have received three calls today from a 1 (800) 622 62__ phone number today, All of which being quite suspicious and scams.

SIN number scam. Usual "Press 1" blah, Blah, Blah. If you are bored, You can always have some fun with them by making up a name and address and seeing how long you can keep them on the phone without giving them any real information.

Recieved call that I have a great warrant against my social security number.

Indian Accent Service Canada Warrant scam. The caller stated "Thank you for calling service Canada. How can I help you?" I stated you called me; so you tell me. Service Canada does not call you. So, She hung up.

Total scam from what I tell. I didn’t even answer.

Called me from 2 other numbers, But doesn’t say anything, It’s just silent the whole time & then they hang up. Blocking won’t help you get rid of them, They’ll find a way.
