Received postcard in mail with my personal vehicle information claiming I needed to call this number for "protection" of my vehicle with the note, "Failure to respond by 2/24/2022 will re-categorize your vehicle in our system with a new status of: High-Risk potential "Pre-Existing" conditions with mechanical or electrical issues on vehicle. Neglecting to update your protection may result in 100% out of pocket repair costs." The postcard does not say who sent the card or give a website, which was
I just bought a car, with a warranty. I keep getting post cards about my warranty expiring, Google the number because the post card doesn't have a company name on it, and the number belongs to Capital debt management. I'm about to call them and tell them what I think of their scam.
Got a letter in the mail stating something about a warranty expiring, and since I’m a first time buyer of course I was scared, so I looked up the number and now here we are, I was surprised they got all of my information, my address, the car I got, and my name, they definitely have access to something and it’s not good. Don’t contact anyone before you look it up to see if it’s legit. Stay safe out there!
Normally I wouldn't even google a warranty XXXXX phone # even though it was from **Motor Vehicle Services** & that my vehicle really would show up **High risk w/ mechanical or electrical issues** if I tried selling it just automatically throw it away. However I did just recently receive a legitimate letter from the Real Dept of Motor Vehicles that since my 2009 Honda CR-V does currently have a new recall because of the airbags & to contact any Honda Dealership. I haven't been able to get it i

Not affiliated with dealer or manufacturer
The dealer takes care of the warranty paperwork not
some scam organization.
They are working from a very hot place and should stay there!!
Received an almost convincing postcard. They knew my address (but not name), Year, Make, Model and dealership I purchased from. Agressive, Act fast style messaging as if I was ignoring notifications. Included devistating consequences like paying 100% of out of pocket expenses.
One small point in fine print (which they are probably legally required to say): "Not Affiliated with Dealer or Manufacturers"
"Notice" card looks legit with "RECORD ID" and 1-800 number, But just aggressive marketing as others have mentioned. They will tell you about how expensive and even give you some ridiculous numbers. LOL.
I got a postcard about my cars service protection with this number telling me to call it or my vehicle will be “recategorized” as “high risk and pre existing conditions with mechanical or electrical issues”. I called and when I asked who they were they gave me all my info and told me they were “the warranty company” along with a bunch of bs. They said when does your warranty run out, And I said it lasts till I get rid of the car. They said it doesn’t work like that it’s years and miles. And I sa
I have been receiving all kinds of proxy based phone calls concerning this same scam. Basically, They want you to pay for: "Vehicle Service Protection", Because the vehicle that they have associated with a name (which may not even be yours) is no longer under the Manufacture's warranty. It appears that they have access to a manufactures' databases and are doing a best match on the person's name and VIN number. Their tactics are very threatening. Example: "Failure to respond by 12/17/2020, Will r
Scam. I purchased a new Ford vehicle with a full warranty and then this company sent me an alarming post card advising if I do not call them then I am 100% out of pocket for any repairs. Scam. Scam. Scam. 800-293-4424
Same here. They won't stop calling me and now mail alarming postcards. I already bought and paid for a warranty from the dealer when I bought the car that's doesn't expire for another 4 years or another 90, 000 miles. Do not even answer the call and argue with them because it will make them even more persistent! SCAM!
Its a Warranty Spam on vehicles, Most of the time they don't have the correct one and try to scare you into buying an extended warranty. Very rude people, Very pushy. They ignore both State and Federal No Call Lists.
