Same thing with me. A black roman. Knew my social and home address and said I had a debt with wells fargo. Not sure if it’s a scam or not because I had wells fargo like 12 years ago but closed my account. She would not give me any more info. I told her it would call her back after I talked to wells fargo. She asked if her phone number was on my phone screen but it said SCAM ALERT. Who knows?!

Black woman called asking for negotiated settlement amount for a Wells Fargo debt (of which I have none). They knew last 4 of my social, my home address and one of my older email addresses... They claimed they'd sent multiple notices to my home and email. I asked the black female who called to forward me documentation. She refused to provide any documentation and said Wells Fargo refused to provide any more communication than they already have. She then said she'd send me a settlement an

I got a call that I owed debt, asked him to mail and email a statement, and he went into complete silence. I dont trust this at all, be careful and check your credit/debt through a valid credit (i.e. Credit Karma, or through your credit card app). I do not have this debt listed, so its a scam!
