Man with accent wanted an IT employee to provide a password for a webinar. Told him the person was unavailable, So the caller requested voicemail. I said the system was experiencing problems, And he decided to email his target. Then he asked to confirm the staffer's title; I said he should be able to find that in the registration form and hung up.
He confirmed my name, And my company email address. I surprised how he know my office email address. He mentioned that he sent some product information to my email and ask me to sort of select it. And disconnect the phone. I did not receive any email. The accent is Chinese.
An indian female called first asking for an employee who is not here anymore and hung up when I started asking questions.
The second call was from an indian male asking the name of the company and then hung up.
Caller with a very Foreign accent who claimed to be "Mark". Asked for me by name and then after I confirmed (by saying "speaking" rather than "yes"), He hung up during the start of his pitch "Hi, I'm calling on behalf of ----" end of call. After searching for the number, I'm convinced it's a scam of some kind.
