I received a package with a cheap see through bodysuit I didn't order with the address of 5215 S Boyle Ave Vernon, CA 90058. This is a scam from my understanding to collect money from an undelivered package to their address after they use other people's identities to place said order. Also, phone number 213-442-1463 ext 12667 was on the label placed under the second shipping label that has my information on it. Others are complaining of this same experience.
Its called BRUSHING (Google it). Vendors send cheap junk to random people pulled from stolen data sets and such. Often to build vendor reputation on marketplaces such as Amazon or eBay. If you receive a package, no harm to you, just throw it away or keep the trinket. The harm comes to the people who end up buying a poor quality product from a vendor with hundreds of fake 5 star reviews.
Seems okay to me. I ordered three nesting dolls from Amazon and they came from Russia. This number appeared under my address on the label and like the comments here suggest, it is most likely associated with Amazon. Thought it was weird, but I at least got my order and they’re high quality.
SCAM?
Very cheap bottle cork from Kyrgyzstan. Never ordered anything. Would be nice how they got my name and address. How to stop? Possibly associated with orders from Amazon or Walmart.
I ordered a pencil sharpener from Amazon. The order came from China, has a return address of Kyrgyzstan, and has my name but this phone number on the customs form.
This person/organization uses the number +1 619-854-2705 and purchases multiple items sitewide ships to random addresses, then takes advantage of the money-back guarantee, one of the orders they used the name "Evergreen." They are now on eBay, and the account is registered in Pakistan but could be VPN.
This is a scam; someone pretending they didn't receive ordered items, then they request refund from the vendor. This # appears on packages shipped to various homes across the country. While pkg had my name & address on it I did not order items. There was also a customer # & purchase order # on package. Contacted vendor & gave them all this info; sure vendors have a way to block this #/person from ordering from them. This scam is costing vendors $$; will also cost consumers $$ in the long run
Received a package (a $7. 00 XXXXX pride bracelet) in the mail with this telephone number under my address. We have no orders pending from Amazon or anyone else. At first I thought it was from my prankster brother-in-law.
Showed up on a recent pkg. I ordered from Walmart who apparently used a third-party vendor to fill my order--who BTW sent me the WRONG item. This # appeared under my name/address on the invoice in the package. I Google the # and appears this has happened to many people who'ave ordered through Walmart or Amazon but their orders filled by third-party vendors. Very WEIRD.
I received a package which had a delivery label. It had my name and address on it and that phone number. I did not order the item. On the back of the package, There was another delivery label with someone else. I called that person and he picked the package up.
It’s a number through Amazon so the buyer can call you without having your actual number. If you call the number put in the extension and then your zip code it will then call your phone.
This number was the source of an unsolicited package which did not require a signature. The package was just left in my mailbox. Gotta be a scam... Some goofy looking earrings I never ordered...
Just had an attempted Fedex delivery with a required signature that I refused for something I did not order. This number was listed with my name and biz address.
