See who's calling

I have been charged £30 for a call to this number dated 17th June but I have never dialled it and normally cut off any call which sounds scammy, Often without speaking. What can I do to prevent this?

I have been charged for call from this number which I didn't answer have been charged 31. 26 not happy at all what can we do

Recieved a bill from BT. (Dont have a BT phone). Googled the number for BT and called the number (It was an 08 number) This appeared on my Virginmedia bill with a charge of £38!

I have had a charge of £21. 78 to this number which I did not make. I also have a charge of £7. 76 to 09015453053 which I also didn't make! How do I stop this happening again.

My son phoned BT Sports to buy the monthly subscription in the last month, He has never been called by this number or even called them. They have billed him 2 calls at £34 each, The date and time they say they've called isn't even on his call history! Don't even know where to go from here. I'm only getting the connection with BT because of other reports. Surely BT shopuld be doing something about this!

Was advertised as the number for BT. The call was. 11 seconds and got charged £1. 10! Sneaky scammers.

My son answered our landline. They said they were BT. They told him our SKY account had been hacked. He rang my wife who then the phone number. Luckily she thought it was a scam and hung up. Thankfully it only cost us £4 for one minute. Definitely a scam.

My wife googled for a number to call BT. This number was top of the search ads. The folk on the line pretended to be BT, Took our account number then told her we had no account with BT. This was a lie. We were charged £31. 32 for 8:20mins. If you look below the number on their website the charges are stated in the smallprint.

I have been charged 34 pounds for supposedly being on the call for 8 minutes but I have no recollection of making this call

I was charged 20. 42GBP for two calls on my mobile which I did not make. There was no calls made on the day in question on the call log. I ‘chatted’ with BT asking the charges to be removed. They decided to investigate. When I looked again at my call log mysteriously the 09 calls appeared. Who did that?

Usually pay £30 for our internet and are recent bill is £102 apprently we have rang this number 3 times and we defiantly haven’t as we only use our phone in emergencies! Defiantly a scam to watch out for

I was supposed to have rung this number twice within 10 minutes and was charged £30 and £34. I definitely didn’t call it.

If this number appears on your bill notify your phone provider they should investigate, It is a scam

Totally a SCAM. I called this number when I saw it on my bill. Message says "calls charges at £3. 60/ mind plus service provider charges. I did not dial this number and it is a rip off. Is it BT or 02??? I am taking this to Ofcom. SCAM SCAM DO NOT USE THIS NUMBER.
