Claimed to be Santander, definitely not Santander

I had a problem making a payment - Santander trying to make sure everything was okay

I believe this is a scam

Santander, problem with fraud, I have never had a Santander account, Scam call.

I believe this is a scam. No money removed from my credit card as they said. I also believe that positive comments about this number and put there by the scammeres.

Had wrong person for my phone number in automated message. I wouldn't believe these "safe" comments as they are all in the same tone of writing, very basic and quick which is probably from people paid to write the safe reviews or part of the scam team.

I got a call, I asked if I could call the number on the back of my card to check if they are legit and they said they are gonna punch me in the face and hung up ahah, a bunch of sad scammers unfortunately, dont trust comments saying they are safe as probs written by same team of scammers, (always call number on back of card, even if ur pretty convinced, just to check)

Was fine. Making sure it was me with weird transaction, trying over my limit.

This number is legit. I’ve just confirmed with Santander via my mobile bank app that this is the number for their Fraud Department.

Several call s during 24/1 to say the message was from Santander Cards Fraud department eventually spoke to a female operator who stated that it was in fact from Santander and asked for details of my card which I declined to give having already cancelled the card with the genuine Santander Number the previous evening. Avoid at all costs, I got texts and numerous phone calls. Never reply to someone like this. Always get number direct from bank etc. XXXXX of the earth

Had phone call from this number at 8am today. Automated voice call regarding My Santander account. New it wasn’t right at that time. Requested to press to continue. Put phone down

Said that Santander and requesting I phone back and provided a pin to use when phoning - but when I phoned Santander on their direct number they had no record of phoning me - i. E. Highly likely to be a scan.

Scam pretending to be Santander also ent me a text message asking if I’d made a £106 purchase with pretty little thing I also got a message yesterday unfortunately I replied nothing has happened so far but I’ve contacted my bank and made them aware
