Free spam call blocker

Called me 17 May 2024 at 13: 57 claiming to be from PayPal and asked me to confirm my email address. I closed the call.

Calling every other day asking to verification of my last 4 digits on my card.. Scammmers

Called twice in a week then went to automated call didn't specify what bank could have been PayPal but none of us have it if I can remember (only ever had used two banks with multiple family members)

Indian call centre saying they are calling from paypal. I asked them to provide any confirmation and they kept asking me to confirm my email. I said if theyre actually from paypal they can send a message on my account / app, and hung up.

Funny I'm watching scam intercepters while these lowlife are on the phone to me, and it's all about Indian scammers saying that they are from PayPal.

Irish woman claiming to be from PayPal, she asked for my email address but I told her I wasn’t willing to give her any info until she told me what it was regarding, she said until she had my email, she didn’t know! I told her to email me instead. She asked for me to ring PayPal direct so I said I would. Do not give this person any information!

Scam - getting harassed daily by this number. I see comments stating this is PayPal if you owe money, this is not the case. I owe 0 money to PayPal.

This is not PayPal. I am currently on the phone to PayPal who have confirmed that nobody from PayPal have attempted to call me today and that they would not request information via telephone only through email or text message. The call is very convincing.

They said they offer Recovery loan with 0% interest from Natwest. :-) When I asked is the bank giving free money then he said they charge the interest from them:-) Do not give any details. They wanted all your personal details and the business details

Please don't call back it is a scam I called PayPal this morning and they confirmed this and told me to block number.

Had a missed call, then a voicemail? Which was obviously recorded. Knew my full name - very odd. Irish woman speaking, but sounded automated.

They said they are calling from PayPal looking for information about my account. Be aware

Claims to be paypal, just rang paypal through the app and they confirm it is not them and that it is indeed a scam

Definitely a scam but a clever one. Checked my account and there was no problem as they mentioned. I don't want to teach the scammers but the minute a caller says there is a problem means they are a scammer. Banks make their money out of client 'problems'. The two positives below are probably from the aforementioned Irishman.

Can't believe this is Paypal, no message in my app, no email from them. I've had 2 'Paypal' calls now from this and another number - the second time they didn't bother to leave a message.

Called me twice this evening did not answer googles the number and found on numerous different sites that people were complaining of PayPal scam number so will block too many negative reviews to risk it although I'm tempted to answer and waste their time for fun but has anyone been charged for answering their call

Keep ringing asking for security questions to be answered, Today’s call was to say I had a payment due and if I didn’t pay it’s going to double every day.

First time african sounding guy asking for Paypal email. An hour later Irish sounding guy. Both dodgy not introducing themselves properly Irish guy hung up after I wouldn't budge

Asked them to stop blocked the number but now leave me constant messages

Really rude Irish man or woman will call claiming that it’s PayPal and that you have to provide your email address, When you question why their calling they will get super defensive and tell you that if you call PayPal you’ll be redirected to them, BLOCK AND AVOID

Said they were from PayPal and started trying to gather personal information about my daughter. Offered to take her number off their records if she no longer lived with me.

Just had the same experience of a call from 'paypal'. Will now block the number, But shouldn't BT be doing this when 0800 numbers are being used for false purposes?

Im getting about 20 calls a day from this number, No lie. This has been going on two weeks. I don’t answer. Now I’ve had two text stating to ring and quote a reference which they’ve forgotten to mention in the text😂 I’m going to answer the next time they ring and play them at their own game 🤬🤬

I have had this phone call twice yesterday, Once today just ignoring them it comes up as spam. So I blocked them but they can still phone

Claimed to be Paypal. Asked me for my email, So I asked him to read my email to me to confirm it wasn't a scam and he hung up. Confirming it was a scam!

Said they were calling from paypal also knew my name. I hung up contacted paypal who said it wasn't them. Do not give info to these people.

They pretend to be from PayPal, And they keep insisting with the phone calls and asking me for my personal details! I had to close the phone and I had to ask not to be phone again! Fist was a lady who called and then a man!

Claimed to be PayPal after some heavy breathing and to confirm my email address. I asked why what it was regarding and she simply said it’s in regards to your PayPal account. And to check my emails for the reason for the call. There is no email

Call in the evening, Said they were from PayPal and asked for my details to confirm my identity, I refused and hung up. Then called back the official PayPal number and it was outside of their working hours so definitely not PayPal when they closed at 18. 30

Scam call pretending to be from paypal. Not sure whether this is related: this morning, There was a direct debit payment from LVIC which I have not set up. I'm now on the phone with HSBC (listening to repeat music) to report this!

100% a scam, I've been in contact with paypal they had this to say "I can not see there is any problems with your PayPal account. Do you know if anyone have tried to contact you? If you do not know any reason for PayPal to call you. It is then a scam. We rarely call you. It would only be if you have a negative balance or some kind of investigation"

This IS A SCAM, I have just got off the phone to PayPal, This number IS NOT PayPal, They are following the matter up with their fraud team. DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS TO THESE PEOPLE, BLOCK THE NUMBER they also use another number 44 800 368 XXXX the same applies. Those people here claiming that this number is PayPal are the scammers trying to add credibility to their operation, If in doubt call PayPal from your PayPal App who will confirm that THESE CALLS ARE SCAMS.

I think it is actually PAYPAL the credit control department I don’t know if there’s possibly people pretending to be them to extort personal information but as far as I know it is legit just means u owe money to them
