Received this call this morning (18. 04. 2024) @08: 27am i don’t pick up; I decided to search up the number to find out who it could be and found this page. The people left me a voice message saying my BT Business account is overdue. Gave me instructions on how to make a payment and that I need to make a payment today as my line will be restricted. I do not use BT broadband at all so most definitely there’s no way I could even have a BT Business Broadband Account. Be VERYY carefu

Asking for payment of a BT bill we'd already paid. He put me on hold and I googled the number as I was suspicious.

Indian lady calling company line to inform bill is overdue and that the phone line will be terminated. When I asked what number to call back on the number given was 0845 6006156. THIS IS A SCAM CALL

Phoned to say bill from BT last month is unpaid, I closed the account last year, total scam!

Do not answer this call complete SCAM claiming to be from BT could not give any details, could not state any bills I’ve had. Asked me over 1000 to catch up but im on a direct debit payment all upto date.

Indian guy, says he's from BT about an unpaid bill but we stopped using BT few years ago. When asked for further information he only had our company name and no other contacts.

Scam BT message when you ring it back

I first received a letter purporting to be from BT alleging that I had an unpaid invoice for £11. 98. As I didn't recognise the supposed invoice, I called in at the local BT/EE shop where an asstant checked my account and confirmed that there was nothing outstanding. Although my bills are paid by direct debit the letter invited either to telephone to pay or to set up a direct debit. I therefore supposed that they were wanting my bank details and ignored the letter, reporting it to BT's anti-phis

SCAM - Called saying they are from BT and we have an outstanding bill. When I said I wanted an email with a copy of the bill Indian woman said ‘we don’t have the provision to do that’ an preceded to tell me the phone will be cut off if I don’t pay right now. Haha yeah right!!

Same as rest. Female artificial voice this time, no Indian. BT account unpaid bill, if unpaid we will cut you off. Good luck I don't use BT infrastructure... They hung up.... Guessing someone was listening in to the computers calls.... Or a very good automated AI telephone system.

Male with an Indian accent calling about an unpaid BT bill - scam caller. We rang BT and are up to date with payments. Sounded very convincing, but luckily our receptionist was saavy enough to delay the caller until we had checked with BT and when he rang back we refused to give any information, reported to Ofcomm and blocked the number.

There was what sounded like a South Asian man telling me that I have an outstanding payment for a BT bill.

This number rang me today on my landline and said my account was to be terminated. I said thanks, I will ring BT myself. They swiftly put the phone down.

I didn't answer and an automated message was left indicating it was from BT saying my BT business account was overdue and to make a payment. I have no BT accounts. Scam.

Gentleman stated was calling from BT regarding an outstanding bill and service due to be terminated unless paid. Would not provide me with any details of the billing address or the line number. Waste of time. Probably a SCAM.
