Free spam call blocker

First said they were BT Partner, Then a Powergen Partner.

Thank god for this site. Just rung me blah blah about my business broadband. Really determined seller said ring back which gave me the time to check the number. I will now ban the number thanks folks

Claimed to be a BT authorised partner and my business broadband was coming to a close. Took a lot of effort for them to reveal that they were RHM Telecom and BT had asked them to call me. Dangerous territory once you go down that route.

Claimed to be from BT and told me our broadband contract was due for renewal and there was an offer on. I knew this was not true having renewed earlier in the year and double checking this directly with BT recently following a similar call. They were not from BT

Claimed to be from BT, But asked for someone who hasn't been here for 5 years and who is no longer listed on our BT account. Told me the contract was due for renewal and did we want to stay with BT. Told her to email me details, Then checked direct with BT and they confirmed that we still had 11 months to run on the contract. Maybe not scam, But dodgy.

Presumably a scam as call went through to answer machine, No message left and obviously a call centre in background.
