Claimed he was calling from Nationwide, his accent didn't fit his name, wanted me to answer security questions for my credit card, I asked him what the problem was with the card to which he replied there is no problem I'm calling to see if you're having any finacial problems we can help with, I asked what town he was calling from and he said West Midlands, I can't tell you where though due to security reasons, he said if I wasn't comfortable giving him the details then the call could end and not

Apparently this is a Nationwide number 0800 464 3123 - But it sounds exactly like a SCAM call. Crazy how ueless some Banks & Building Societies can be.

I received a call from this number this morning, asking me a few security questions about my account and then asking if I was happy for my usual balance clearing payment to go through for my credit card. My phone flashed up this number as being potential spam so I phoned Nationwide security and they confirmed that the call was genuine.
