Just tried getting me to go onto my online banking whilst on the phone. I asked him how much Council Tax i paid to which he put the phone down. Very well spoken too may I add.

Quite a sophisticated scam. Comes up on the phone as Santander and they tell a story about you logging on to your online banking and setting up direct debits to Companies in Europe Give no information. Terminate the call and rind Santander fraud department.
