This website has some real wallys commenting. Its not a “scam” number, you don’t need to cancel direct debits, you don’t meed to get upset. You have consented somewhere for marketing calls - I don’t know why people get so upset. Some people shouldn’t be allowed internet access - it’s too dangerous for them.
Name right but gave a slightly wrong address which I use when filling in forms on line in order I can tell how they got my number. Told him I couldn't get virgin whee I was he insisted on checking then said You're right we are not in that area yet, However we do have some great deals on sim cards which mobile provider do you use. I said Virgin if you were as you say from Virgin surely you would know and put phone down.
So having set up my Virgin Broadband with this number, And not receiving any emails I decided to do some googling. I cancelled my card because of the scam comments below and on several other forums, Flagged potential fraud to my bank, Who put a block on new direct debits... As it turns out, From the engineer who just turned up at my door, Its very much not a scam, We consent to be called when we search for deals via their website. This line is affiliated with Virgin.
Not a scam - it's Virgin Media. Calls following request via their website and/or for follow-up to previous customers after leaving the service. NOT A SCAM, It is Virgin Media.
Received a call from this number, Claimed they were Virgin Media. Quoted prices and then kept asking for my bank details, Needless to say I didn't supply them.
