Useless all I need to do is cancel my insurance overdraft as I am now using Internet banking wasting money so please help. Trying to contact you is just wasting my time
Called pretending to be from Nationwide telling me that my account had had fraudulent transactions and was frozen. Then tried to get me to move money from my account. Con artist.
Said they were nationwide and there had been a fraudulent payment on my account. When I said I didn't have a nationwide account for the third time they hung up on me.
Had a man saying from my bank nationwide saying I had been scammed and whammed some of my bank details and other info was not happy call the bank and they new nothing of this
This was scammer trying to get my Bank Details!!! Very strange as it's the official Nationwide number and it came through on my mobile. A very plausible gentleman with a Scottish accent. However, I was not comfortable with what he was asking so I ended the call. Contacted Nationwide and they confirmed they had definitely NOT phoned me.... BEWARE!!!
