I hung up and called NatWest who confirmed they had been trying to call me.

Called Nat west directly and they confirmed they had been trying to contact me. Its likely not fraud on that basis but you have a number on your credit card for a reason, Its always safer to use that. Some are insistent one way or another and there's criminal motivations for both passing a number as safe and smearing it when you are emptying an account illegitimately the solution that solves both cases is not to ignore it, but to call the number on your card.

0800 0466137 left a message on my answerphone saying it was Natwest Fraud and there was suspicious activity on my credit card. I didn't reply; instead I phoned Natwest on the number given on their website, waited for ages, but ended up with the right people who confirmed it had been them, and after going through the usual security they unblocked my card - just in time for the next day's weekly delivery! Received a call from the above number regarding a potential fraud on my card. I didn't call the above number, But the number on the back of my card, Which eventually got me through to the fraud team, Who confirmed they had contacted. The Fraud Team's message was clear. If in doubt regarding the incoming number or the number being requested to call back on. Always dial the number on the back of your credit card or the number available on their website.

THIS IS A SCAM - do not listen to the other comments that say it is genunie, They are just the scammers. Hang up and block the number, Call your bank using a number from their website and check you're ok.

Rang back using the number on back of card. It proved to be a genuine call, My card had been used fraudulently and was cancelled minutes after the offence. Thanks Natwest!

Sounded like a fraud to me faking being Nat West Credit cards.

I had this call today. It was genuine and related to actual fraud on my credit card.

Had a call from this number didn't give any details, Rang natwest fraud number and it was a genuine call from natwest fraud department.

This is fraud. Claiming to be fraud prevention team from bank. The bank will call you from a withheld number if they contact you and wont need full card details or details to log on your online banking

This is Natwest!!! It’s not a robocall.... I called it back and they text me to prevent fraud on my card and sent me out a new card!

It’s a scam they will ask for your name and your date of birth, And after you’re credit number

It claims to be an automated fraud checker from Nat West Card department. It asks for information like address and date of birth. I rang Nat West and they said it wasn't them.
