I answered. Silent. They hung up after 6 seconds. Is it dangerous that I answered?

From 3 Mobile sales new contract of broadband.

Had a second phone call in two days. They both were very polite so to someone very vulnerable they seem like a real deal. One even sent me a txt message from 3 to “confirm” that they were from 3. But once you tell them that you know they are scammers they turn nasty. 3 customer service wouldn’t speak to their customers that way! Next time I’ll inform them that this call is recorded to for police investigation see what they do!

Had four calls from this number saying he was from 3 mobile, So turned the tables on them. Asked for his surname, Postcode (just gave me a bunch of random numbers) and 2nd and 5th letter of his password which of course doesn’t exist. Told him his details didn’t match the records on ‘our system’ He soon gave up

If you have a three account you can asked them to removed your number from their calling list.

Scam call by the sounds of it

They called me, I didn't answer and they sent me a text "I'll call you back" in French!!! How do they know I'm a French person living in the UK???

I assume this was automated. I answered, Got no response and they just hung up.

I answered and said hello, The arsehole on the other side said hello and hung up! Block this number and don't call back, Seems like scam.

Pretended to be 3 mobile, Hung up when i questioned why they were calling as providers don't call their customers

I am getting these calls every 5 minutes on my work phone and i have had enough it now. It dosn't matter how many times you tell them stop calling the number and take it off the system they are deliberately keeping the number on there so they can carry on annoying you. Blocking these numbers is not going to help because they are always getting new ones only to carry on doing it.

This is a telemarking number for Hutchinson3G It is from their sales team trying to get you to buy additional contracts, IPads etc

A scam to obtain personal information

**Remember** - Scammers know the network you have a contract with, As the first 5 digits of your number can tell them that. So its easy for them to say "I'm from 3/vodafone" etc, And you think: 'oh yeah I am on 3/vodafone.. If they already know that then the call must be genuine' WRONG. Don't be fooled!

Just random cracking and snapping noises for about 10 seconds, Then hung up on me.

Tried to get info out of me

Claimed to be calling from 3, Could possibly be genuine Three sales call, But I got uncomfortable when the caller asked for my date of birth and other details. That request sounded dodgy, And caller could just as easily have been a scammer. Perhaps I should have asked the caller to prove his identity. He did however ask all the usual questions - do you have a friend?, Would you be interested in more data etc. Why don't they just attach offers to their regular bills instead.

It maybe another premium number scam and i feel it may be linked to 3 customer services cos rang me twice today also an Indian scam number appeared on my mobile bill and i hadn't even rang or answered any such call! So be careful they us 08700 and its in india

Saying fro 3, Phoned 3 they said they have no such number, Its a con to get info.

Called me, As soon as I said "hello" they hung up. Code caller.

3 mobile which is okay as I am a 3 customer Not any kind of threat just I don't want disturbed by calls and I really don't want to know about offers.

Some indian person whom you can't understand whom you can't understand because of accent from 3 mobile trying to push deals on you.

This is a scam claiming tobe Natwest Fraud squad. If you need to contact Natwest, Then use the number on the back of your credit card and no other!

Phoning me once a day for the last week. I have not answered the calls as I have not asked anyone to cal me. Very irritating and annoying.
