Stop spam calls

Not with Thames water and not in London or anywhere near

100% scam. A while ago I entered my details into an online form as "Clive Carpenter" to sign up for something. I've since had 2 calls from "Thames Water" asking for this person as the owner of a property in London (I live hundreds of miles from London and have never lived in London). Avoid.

She said she was calling from Thames water - they had my name and the address of my property. I asked if this was about a missed payment - she said I needed to clear security first and asked for my DOB… that’s when I got suspicious and hung up.

Claimed to be from Thames Water, wanting me to pay bill from 2021 for £130. 00. Threatened bad credit rating if I didn't pay today. Told them no invoice no payment - hung up. Scam, scam, scam.

I was called on this number by a scammer about a ThamesWater payment, which wouldn't have been unusual, but noticed the hold music was different and ended the call

Nearly got me to pay my Thames water bill of £12 With threats of a mark on my credit score if I did not pay

They say they are from thames water, but they are not. I had an issue with water bill being under my name when it should have been under the agency’s name. Called they agency, they fixed the issue and paid the bill. So there’s shouldnt have been any debt. They called today saying i owe 300£ and that i should pay now, and if not, it will affect my credit score. I realised then its a scam.

Got a couple of texts about waterworks so it makes you think it's from Thames Water. 3rd message is then about paying a bill. Double checked on website and doesn't match Thames Water's helpline. Avoid.

Scammer attempting to obtain a false payment pretending to be from Thames Water. Repeated persistent calls. Subsequent call-blocking did not work.

Text on a work mobile, Number quoted in text is not that of Thames Water and they are no longer my provider. SCAM ALERT

Received text message saying payment due and to call this number to pay. My water supplier is not even Thames Water! Number different to that shown on their website anyway.

Got a txt asking me to call them to pay my Thames water bill because it’s over due I pay by direct debit and Thames waters number is totally different to his one don’t bother with avoid at all costs
