Had a call today saying I had debt, And requesting my bank details so I can pay it off. I then told them I have no debt as I’ve already sorted all them he then asked said “so you are completely debt free” I said yes and he put the phone down!

Call received from from ‘Citizens Advice Help Desk’ as he’d been passed my file from my ‘creditors’. When asked who my creditors were I was to ‘XXXXX of then’. Nice. Clearly a scam.

Caution
Scam. Said they were investigation dept for debts. When I asked for company name they said for financial conduct authority. I said that’s an authority not a company. She said it is a company. I disagreed and said who am I speaking to, What company. Needless to say she hung up. Definite scam as said I was listed in a government debt process which is not the case. Blocking!

Said they were calling from Credit Investigation Bureau, And asked for me using my first name that I stopped using when I was 7, And my maiden name not used for 12 years so god knows where they got details from. Then asked if I had life insurance. Now blocked!

Had my name but claimed they were from credit control/citizens advice bureau! I asked if it was spam and they just hung up. Clearly weren't legit!
