As many of people here I thought it was a scam and didn't do anything. Unfortunately it was genuine. I don't know why loyds is using some random numbers to send messages which look like a scam and why thier number is reported as a spam. call your bank asap. They will block all your online transactions with that card (Lloyds did that in my situation) but just to be sure call them and ask what's happening with your account

Scam. Received several texts from Halifax, Whom I don’t bank with, Saying fraudulent activity happening on my account. Received the same text several times for acc ended in different numbers. Asking to reply to text which I ignored. DO NOT RESPOND!!!

I believe it to be a fraud. They texted me in the style of Lloyds bank about a fraudulent 'card-not-present-' payment. They then called me but i was on hold for a while, So i hung up. I believe their intention to be for you to reveal informatIon about your account to them on the phone call.
