Cold call on morning of 04. 10. 18 on my mobile. Recorded voice said my BT internet would be disconnected today. Given option of selecting 1 or 2 to stop disconnection. Obvious scam. Terminated call without taking any option offered. If you receive similar call, Hang up!!

Asian person saying they are from windows technical department. They ask for personal info and get aggressive when questioned

Scam about BT internet. I don't even have it.

Keeps ringing then cuts off when I answer. I have taken note of the other comments so I am blocking it

Said Bt internet was going to be disconnected within two hours.

Said he was by and wanted me to switch on the computer and give the number of it. Didn’t know who my internet provider was.

Told me there was an issue with my BT line

Answered without saying anything line was dead quiet. They hung up after 1 second. Automated calls.

Robotic voice saying my by internet would be cut off as if they would use an 02 mobile number to impart thus news. Scam

Started of by saying we have problem with router (we dont). I know a bit about IT so was intrigued to listen, Soon as I corrected him and questioned he hung up. 100% a scam call.

Obvs a hoax call saying BT was going to disconnect my broadband immediately. I ended the call without making a selection. Must be a scam.... Number is an o2 number

Robot call claiming BT disconnecting internet and to press 1 or 2 to respond. I just ended the call and am about to block the number.

Caller advised BT internet would be terminated today. When challenged with asking his BT identity he hung up

Same experience as everyone else - may really worry some people. Have no idea why anyone would find pleasure in doing this to others.

Called today to say bt internet would be turn off today scam I don’t have bt internet

They called me on my mobile and said my Internet connection would be terminated today. At that point I hung up. Parasites

Scam - Press one to avoid BT disconnecting your internet - I don't think so.......

As all the below entries say this is DEFO a scam, When i played along with game as i call it, He told very politely 2 f off repeatedly!! Scam all the way plus i dont have broadband i just use my phone

Auto message saying bt broadband. Don't have bt broadband thus must be dodgy call/scam

Automated message pretending to be BT Broadband, Prompting to press 1 to cancel disconnection of your broadband press 2 to disconnect your broadband. Not sure the angle of the scam but seems like one to me!

Pretending to be BT. Clearly not.

Automated message that says it is BT and if I don't press 1 they will cut me off - did not bother pressing anything further.
