I had a text from this same number asking ‘hi is this —‘ I am a hairdresser so judging by the below comments he is targeting that industry. Very odd

I have had several messages from this number today (18/11/22) knowing my name wanting to arrange a hair cut and colour for men’s hair but wouldn’t tell me who they are or where they are, wanted to know what areas I cover and kept asking if I can do their hair. Since reading the previous reports I’ve now blocked the number!

Definitely spam as strange messages with kiss on the end asking if I’m a hairdresser and knows my name.

I have had a few messages from this number over 12months. Same experience as all these comments, I replied to start with but then got fed up. I hadn't had any messages for a while until Saturday which said ' hi is this *****? X x ' very strange, glad I searched and found this page

This creepy person contacted me about a year ago and I blocked him and he’s managed to get me through a different number. Asking if I do hair/beauty how much, can I wash, can I dye can I scissor cut. Very creepy and defo not going to be booking him in. Beware of this number

This number text me early yesterday and today with the same spiel as everyone else had. Is my name *** (says my name) do I do hair/beauty, can I colour, do I wash hair, can I wash his hair, do I do men, can I scissor cut, can I colour, can I do both, can I cut, can I wash his hair. It was creepy and I checked this site and saw it was a weirdo. This morning he text me again and I told him I've reported him now and will work to get him exposed and I've heard nothing else. Left me feeling very vuln

7. 30am this morning I had a message asking me if this was my name, then asked if I do hair/beauty I replied saying I’m a hairdresser but unfortunately on maternity leave, he then kept continuously asking me to book him in and let him know as soon as I’m back (names Matt) then had to say I’m not taking any new clients at the mo, to AGAIN begging me to book him in when I’m back to work. Very strange!!!!

Exactly the same experience as everyone else! This is about the 4th different number that "Matt" has mesaged me on! Dont bother replying, just block!

Someone called matt, i had this about 3 years ago and then happened again to me today. Even had my name! Blocked as soon as i saw this forum and remembered from years previous.

Just experienced the exact same thing...I found it very odd he kept asking for my name considering he had found my number from my business page. That rang alarm bells straight away. I said I didn't do men's hair than he asked about colour. Fortunately I googled the number and saw these messages so blocked him straight away. Weird!!!!!

The same as most of these comments, wanting a hair appointment behaving oddly. He also tried to call me! He’s now blocked

DONT REPLY, he pretends to have autism to make you feel sorry for him then asks loads of weird questions. He started asking if we would be alone during the appointment, what times my partner is usually home, and what my address is not just my Salon address. He is not legit!!

Received messages much as the other comments already on here. Asking me if I still cut men's hair, when can I fit him in, who was he speaking to, where was I based, do I dye men's hair - and when I didn't reply straight away at times I would receive 3 or 4 texts from him within the next 3 minutes. Before I googled his number I half entertained the appointment and asked for a photo of his current hair to see whether the colour change he wanted was possible, and he replied that his phone could

Recieved a message from "matt" enquiring about mens hair and if i dye mens hair. He said he got my number from my hair page on facebook so why not just message me on there instead. I've blocked the number. If he messages my page then I'll speak to him on there if it's legit.

Same as all the other comments. I have my own hair salon, he kept texting late at night asking weird questions and also said his name was Matt. Blocked this morning

I’ve had exactly this same thing yesterday!! I’ve blocked him thank you! Who did people report too?

Some bloke called matt asking weird questions

Some weird creep calling himself Matt messaging and pestering women on business pages, he keeps changing his number and won't answer the phone if you ring from a different number other than the one he messaged. Block him and report him

Had the same experience with the same number. Do not reply to any of the messages.

Dangerous!! Do not reply or answer! This is the 3rd time from 3 different number I have recieved this message ‘ gd afternoon just an inquiry do u do mens hair from matt x’ the number is tracked to Russia! It is not legit as the other numbers he contacted me on were +44 7546 XXXXXX and +44 7545 XXXXX which list him as dangerous targeting hair and beauty industries
