Repeatedly called and didn't answer. When they did answer they said my name and address and asked if I had a mortgage. I said I wasn't interested and asked to be removed and not contacted again. I was then sworn at and then they hung up. Definitely ignore or block this number.

Scam on life insurance block number

Called 3 x, Said my name, Postcode and age bracket, Asked me to confirm. Then asked if I pay mortgage. As soon as I asked who was calling. Said nationwide and hung up.

Called saying some indecipherable insurance company then asked about the postcode of an address I lived in 6 years ago.

From Indian call centre, Knew my name- sounds like a scammer

Foreign accent. Said my life insurance was due for renewal but I don’t have any. I hung up.

No one there when I picked up

They have called my mobile three times so far today, Havent answered as my phone has alerted me to them being a known fraudster or scammer.. Blocked them now.

Says they are from Nationwide Building Society.

He said he called from Oxfam and asks to confirm my post code and he hang up straight away.

Rang giving my maiden name I said it wasn't me she then went on to give out the address data protection there was known!!!!!!!

Asian Guy called wanted me to confirm my postcode, When challenged who he was he said he was from Nationwide Building Society. He put the phone down when I told him I did not have an account with them

Asian Voice. Off shore most likely - noisy quality line and not background "office" type noise. Asked about my name and address and whether my washing machine was between 1 and 10 years old. The went away himself. Strange

Had several calls now just ringing and not there when answered. Requested data on a previous occasion which I refused and was very difficult to understand. My advice ignore.

Called at 11 asking for me with my house no and postcode. Said they from hotpoint, Started asking questions about random things so put the phone done. Same number called at 12 asking again for me and had my postcode, This time said they were from Leeds building society. When questioned they put the phone down

Asked about Nationwide account and wanted to know if I still owed on Mortgage. Got pushy then hung up when challenged. DO NOT GIVE THIS PERSON INFO!

Agree with other reporters. Selling life insurance and wouldn't answer any questions about where they got my name and number. Even spoke to a 'supervisor' who also just kept repeating the same sales pitch.

Rang today about life insurance spoke with an Asian/Indian accent when I asked where he had got my number from he said it was a survey conducted on the 19th July of course I don't do surveys so knew that was a lie poor line eventually he hung up! Number blocked!!
