I had booked a visit from a Sky engineer for today. Over the last 2 days I have had several texts from this number asking me to text 'KEEP", 'CHANGE' or 'FIXED'. I ignored these texts as I suspected they were a scam. The engineer has just been... He did not recognise the number and said Sky would never contact me that way. IT IS A SCAM!!!

I received texts from this number asking me to reply with words like KEEP (to keep the appointment). I rang Sky to see if this is a number they recognise. They said no. Someone has hacked into their database and knows specific details such as appointment times/days.

This is a number Sky use to confirm engineer appointments. I booked a service call with them and got a text from this number to confirm the agreed time and date. If you have never ordered sky they obviously have the incorrect number. It’s not a scam!

Says I've booked a SKY engineer and wants to confirm the appointment time. I have NOT ordered anything from SKY. This is a scam where either a) you pay for the return text, Or b) texting confirms your details and they then try something next level.
