James from Credit Investigation Dept - had an Asian accent and line had a delay when I answered. Can’t call it back just cuts off when I try

BEWARE! I recieved a call at 11. 16am 18/08/2018 and was informed that it was the citizens advice bureau and was asked about debts when i challenged that i have never heard of the citizens advice bureau phoning up people the person on the other end of the phone hung up.

Said they were calling about my unsecured debts.. When I said not interested and please remove my number, Got told they couldn't do that and swore at.

Asking about credit information. Claiming to be from the Credit Investigation Department. Which in the UK, Doesn't have authority to act as it isn't authorized by the Credit Investigation Bureau. D NOT give these people any information about yourself.

Rang claiming to be Citizens Advice rigging in regards to debts I have got to pay... When I said I have no debts and if I did surely I would have to ring them first and that will be passing their number on to CAB and the police they put the phone down on me...

These people phoned me saying have out standing loans and credit cards to pay off I have no loans or credit cards watch out there scammers

Random call to my young daughters mobile today (17/08/18) and asked for her by name. Claimed to be citizens advice - she’s had no dealings with them at all. Searched the number and it is indeed a scam. Report it.

'Financial citizen advice'?? Dont answer. They want your information

Because I couldnt understand them he said I was illiterate and uneducated

Pretended he was calling from citizens advice. I told him to jog on.

Scam, They said I owed debts and when I said I didn’t they hung up.

Asked me something about an unsecured loans? I don't have any. He hung up.

Extremely rude when I wouldn't confirm my name. Shouted down the phone to me and said he was from the Citizens advice.

Tried call back but the number was unobtainable - now blocked

Called and hung up when answered. Nothing was said.

Claims i have unsecured debt. Says going to arrest me if I am lying!!!! Details “will be at my house in 2 hours. Be in “ hung up.

Told me he can help me clear debts over a thousand pounds then when i told him i dont owe that much so no point of continue the call started swearing crazy

Claimed to be from the credit investigation bureau. Not authorised by the FCA. Scam!

Said they had information about my unsecured debts

Some one telling me they’re from the citizens advice beauro and they’ve received loads of letter with my name on. DODGY

This is a Scam and when you refuse to give out information you get sworn at
