Pretending to be from O2, Offering me an upgrade.

Received a text that said “ your o2 upgrade is now due! To find out what phone you can have and any discount, Text back YES!” I am not due an upgrade as I’ve only had my current contract with o2 for 9 months, So I won’t be texting back and saying YES

Text me using my first name saying I have a phone upgrade waiting, Funny thing is I upgraded 3 days before getting the text. Checked with carphone warehouse who confirmed it’s a scam.

They pretend to be 02 and text about a phone upgrade. Its not true. Don't text back, I suspect its a premium rate to reply.

Had a text using my first name and claiming to be my network provider. They said it was time to upgrade which I know for a fact isn’t until next summer! Seems like a scam to me, I blocked the number. “[name] your o2 upgrade is now due! To find out what phone you can have and any discount, Text back YES!“

This number sent me a message pretending my network claiming I can have a free upgrade and text back yes. Please be very cautious with any texts or call from scammers claiming to be your network provider.

Claims to be vodafone and asking to text back for info on upgrade... Brilliant when I have only recently upgraded. Does have name but dont be fooled.

Got a txt saying it was o2 and time for an upgrade

Got a text off them claiming to be O2 and that my upgrade was due. Not only was my upgrade due in March, I'm no longer on O2. So I'm guessing it's a scam.
