This is a scam! Unfortunately I fell for scam and emailed the person. They asked for the condition of a book I was selling on eBay and then sent an email saying they would send me £300 to buy a steam wallets gift card, And extra £50 for shipping fees and £50 for errand fees. Don't fall for this. I then received a fake PayPal email.

Same as below, Not sure what the scam is but just declined the ebay offer and moved on.

Scam, Have offered me more than the value of my product and asked me to contact them. Googled the number and seen everyone else has tried to be scammed too. Thank goodness for websites like this :)

Make offer(MYR1800) on my item that on ebay. Want me to email or whatsapp her first before accept the offer

This person put an offer on eBay and then messaged me to ask me about the item condition, She asked for my PayPal email and XXXXX me I sent her my email! Then I went to my eBay account and invoiced her! And never got a response! I realised it was scam and will block the number and report to both eBay and PayPal

Got a message asking me to message them on whatsapp about my item (bundle of women’s clothes) she then asked me what condition the clothes were in and then told me that she would pay me £300 to buy a steam wallets gift card, And extra £50 for shipping fees and £70 for errand fees. Straight away I knew this was a scam so I told her that if she wanted to buy my items then that was fine but I wouldn’t be buying any gift cards. I was then blocked so AVOID this scammer!!!

Ebay Scam! Makes offer, Asks you to contact them on Whatsapp or email address, Thats as far as I went.

The same thing just happened to me. I declined ‘Sams’ bid and advised them I would not sell as they are a scam. Thank you all.

This person requested to talk on whatsapp/email regarding an eBay item. They then said the item on eBay is a gift for their cousin and also requested me to buy £300 worth of steam gift cards and send it altogether with the eBay item. They sent a fake email pretending to be from PayPal saying I've received money but the funds would only be released once receipts for the steam gift cards are shown.

Slightly concerned about this number waiting for a reply on an PayPal item but after receiving a request to chat on WhatsApp instead of eBay. On WhatsApp asking to buy steam gift card for 300£ to send as a gift and asking for email to send payment by PayPal
