This is genuine. I was dubious so came here to check. I went to my Emails and it confirmed my package was delivered. I wasn't expecting it until Friday so happy days!! :)

As some others have reported, this relates to an Amazon delivery. I'd forgotten that I'd ordered something to be delivered to my partner's address (different to mine) so was confused initially and checked here to see if it was legit. Almost straight after "Hi I'll be delivering [...] Please secure pets and turn on a light if it's dark..." a second text confirming delivery came through. Just after that, the Amazon app also pinged me a push notification to say the delivery had been made.

The courier arrived at my front door with the expected Amazon package, less than five minutes after I received the call, which I did not answer because it was a number I did not recognise.

I have just had this number text me about a delivery. I did check this out on here, so thinking it was a scam I deleted it. I they checked out my orders, and see it was from amazon but the delivery was to my sons home as we share the account. So I belive it is safe

Similar to previous reports: message re order delivered, text session closes in 5 mins. Another message an hour or so later re securing pets… if dark turn light on. Checked my Amazon account, no delivery due today. Blocked and reported number. NB: genuine Amazon deliveries always send email notifications, not texts!

Text message claiming to be an Amazon driver saying my package will be delivered. Press stop. DON'T press stop and delete immediately. SCAMMER

Message received saying "A driver has a message about your order. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts from Amazon for deliveries and pickups. Hi, I'll be arriving with your delivery soon. Please secure pets if you have them and turn on a light if it’s dark. Thanks!" Second message received 6 minutes later says "Your order has been delivered. This text session will close in 5 min." Checked my Amazon account to confirm that I had not ordered anything and have not received anything either?

Caller telling me they are outside my house and to let them deliver parcel

Please secure pets if you have them and turn on a light if it's dark. Thanks! 5mins later he arrived. Delivered parcel. Watched on ring doorbell as he used his phone and I got a text saying “Your order has been delivered. This text session will close in 5 min.“

IMPORANT NOT A SCAM please read. +44 7418 342917 okay so I thought this was a scam, I wasn't expecting a parcel. Ive also reported on a site like this as a scam. So feel gutted bad and have actually gone out of my way to report on as many sites as I can. The text was the same as everyone else's so I ignored it. Text from this number from XXXXX asking for a safe place to leave delivery. Said the text will expire in 10 mins. Text STOP to stop receiving texts from Amazon. Then further trxt saying the parcel had been delivered successfully. Nothing at my address. Not expecting anything from Amazon and nobody knocked the door. Must be a scam. Dont give my number out, So idea where they got it from.

I was sent a text saying a parcel was going to be delivered, A few minutes later the driver arrived and when I asked if he sent a text he said yes
