Missed the call phoned it back answered with silence

Says it is an automated call from BT and they're going to cut off my internet - I don't have internet with BT.

SPAM call purporting to be from British Telecom saying internet connection to be terminated

Got the call from this number today. Clearly a scam outfit and I'm not with BT. Told them that I was reporting them to police then hung up. I am more knowledgable about these sorts of calls but I worry about elderly and vulnerable groups. Just sent them a text with some expletives but it bounced back. There's your answer!

Scam. Automatic message saying that BT was about to disconnect my internet.

Scam artist. Claims to work in London for Microsoft. Has been reported to the police and they have confirmed they have a trace on his line. Avoid.

Claimed to be with BT and saying my internet was clogged due to a high number of downloads and they were going to disconnect me. Didn’t believe them and hung up and blocked them. Only reason they slightly caught my attention is because I am with BT and it’s the day my bill dis due off, So they might be calling people on the most common day for internet bills to come off

Calling to say that they're from BT and going to cut my internet off.

Several seconds of silence followed by an automated “goodbye”. Called the number back only to be told “the number you have dialled has not been recognised” how is that possible when it phoned me less than 10 seconds ago?!

Total Scam, When I questioned him on why someone from America was calling he hung up!!! Beware

Tell you by automatic answer that your BT Internet is going to automatically disconnect. THIS NEEDS TO BE REPORTED.... AND THEY NEED TO BE F I N E D!

Said my internet was going to be cut off, Pressed button 1 which I did then they hung up, Or should I say the automated voice did

Recorded message to say they were terminating my BT service, Press to speak to an adviser........ I don't have any services from BT!

Threatening to cut of bt internet unless i returned a call to them. American voice presumed a scam of some sort and hung up.

Just silence when I answered then they hung up. Checked on here about the number. Now blocked.

Said they were from British Telecommunications and would disconnect my internet line. If they had said BT may have fallen for it if my line were with them

Automated line reportedly from BT stating that my Internet would be disconnected. American voices on the recording, Asked me to "hold the line to find your choices"

They tried to get me to type helpme2. Tk in a browser. When I asked why. Tk (it's NOT a domain BT would use) he hung up on me! How rude!

Supposedly a call from BT. They left a voicemail saying they're going to disconnect the internet line and that I need to press a further number to discuss. I don't have an account with BT. Ignore

Apparently a call from bt about my broadband, But I don't have bt account

Says they are BT and going to disconnect my internet straight away, They'd have a job not even with BT. They wanted me to press a number to connect but I guess its a premium number. BEWARE!!!
