Is this contact 03332027464 for Barclays? This contact called me requesting to help me do something on my account when I lately realised a scam on my account.

Really helped me sort out my issues on my account

Phoned up, knew my name and last 4 digits of my card, stated from fraud dept and i needed to go through with some security questions, asked for their tel no which was the above, he continued to speak but i asked what is my address and he didnt know,, I told him Goodbye

Bloody useless kept me hanging on for 1 hour 25 min so I incurred a penalty charge for going over the hour.

Young guy claimed he was with lloyds, had a bunch of my information....

It took so long to get through to deal with our query that we were charged over £16 on our home phone bill!! They should have a freefone number so they could foot the bill for their inefficiency; bet it wouldn't take so long to get through then! Probably a cost-saving measure by reducing customer service staff. It's the wife's bank not mine - if it was my bank I'd be looking to change banks. Scandalous.

Not a scam. Definitely Barclays, I phoned back through their customer service number and they confirmed the number and the employees name who works for them

I'm disabled and I don't always click on to things straight away. It's a 2 part scam, first they send you a Hermes form about a missed delivery that you have to pay a small fine for. Then a day or two later they ring you pretending to be from your bank. Luckily I asked them to call back the next day as I was out. Claimed to be Nationwide. I hung up and called Nationwide abs they say d it’s a scam

Barclays phone banking. But note that numbers can be spoofed.

Someone called saying they were from the fraud department in Manchester and they suspected fraudulent activity on my account. They asked for my sort code and I refused to give any details. They said they would not be able to refund any monies if I could not verify the account. They gave me a name, ID number and the above telephone number, But said they were not taking incoming calls. My phone bill shows I made a 94 minute call at 1824hrs. It was not possible as I have never made a call that long

Supposed to be Barclays 40 mins on phone still never got through gave up

Same person with the same story called me 5 times now. Scam.

Indian sounding man said there had been suspicious activity on my account and he was phoning me about it from the fraud team at Barclaycard. He was very convincing. Barclays confirmed it as fraud.

This morning I had a call from this number purporting to be my ISP saying there was illegal activity on my internet and I was going to be cut off in 24 hours unless I pressed '1' Somehow scammers have got hold of Barclays number and using it to scam me

Barclays bank. It's the telephone banking number. They do use India call centres.
