Sounds like a young black boy (I’m black for context) from London. Claiming to be Monzo. As soon as I said I will contact Monzo through the app, they hung up. Avoid!!

The caller claims to be from Halifax, Sounds convincing. Tried to get me to transfer my full balance to another UK bank account I hold. He also said, We are generating a new sort and acc number for you to counter fraudulent activity. I can only assume that he'd try to get me to transfer the full balance on my other bank account to his new sort and acc number details.
