DANGEROUS SCAM - do NOT answer, Do NOT press 1, Do NOT call them back, You will NOT face any legal consequences for ignoring their obnoxious scary messages. They pretend to be officers from HMRC threatening you with immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless they get an instant payment! They're persuasive, Aggressive criminals using fear tactics to extort money from vulnerable people and have already claimed a number of elderly victims.

One of them calls claiming to be HMRC saying they have a debt against you when they don't. "press 1 for an advisor" blahblah. Don't bother answering
