Claimed, In an un-American American accent to be from Southern Electric. I told them I'd ring them if I ever needed them and hung up.

Foreign woman claiming to be from SSE and wanting to fit a smart meter. Hung up again.

No one answered when I picked phone up then hung up.

A woman, Said she was calling from SSE, I put the phone down, Checked the number and as I suspected a scam call

Over 25 calls from this number in the past month and a half (roughly ) I've already said I don't want a smart meter nor have I made any inquiries into one. That was with the first two or three calls. Now on my block list, But they clearly keep trying (yes I have multiple screenshots)

Harassing liturly they have phone me every day this week pretty much it's annoying and I'm not interested

Just received a call from this number. As soon as I heard foreign voice I put down the receiver

Was called by this number today who say they are from SSE and that I have logged an interest in having a smart meter installed. Repeated twice that I have not but she still tried to get me to book an appointment. I hung up. Have checked with SSE and this is nothing to do with them. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS just hang up and report call.

American voice when I answered, So beware. Several nuisance phone calls this week on false telephone numbers all with American accents, First claiming to be from BT then claiming to be from SSE.

Claimed to be SSE to install smart meter. I already had it and then uninstalled it cause of landlord.

Scammer. Claims to be from SSE and asks if would want smart meter as they are working "in your area". Tries to get address and other details from you. SSE would know if you have a smart meter or if you have opted out etc, And anyway all the electricity companies send letters to people without smart meters.

Phoned late at night - no reply. Nuisance.

Someone (a real male voice) just said hello and then hung up? So I checked out the number in Google and found other complaints.

SSE about installing a smart meter. Smart meters are VERY VERY dangerous to your health. Proven. You should not allow a smart meter to be put on your home. See the excellent warning talks of BARRIE TROWER about danger of smart meters. Also the excellent talks by DEBORAH TAVARES about smart meters dangers. In America smart meters have started fires and caused property to burn down. Proved. Smart meters give you cancer and many other illnesses.

Really annoying calls from SSE nagging about smart meters. Even on Sunday evenening...
