Claimed to be from Tide bank. Sound urgent, telling you that someone is trying to access your account etc. Sends fake texts appearing to be from Tide to ‘verify’ themselves. Eventually ask you to send money to a new ‘safe account’. Hang up and block!

Tried to pretend they where Tide fraud team

Tried to pretend they were Amex Fraud Dept and then tried to put through a payment on Apple Wallet. They disconnected call when I accessed my account and said their number was not on the the Amex contact list.

Pretending to be from tide apparently some wedding company tried to use 3 grand out my account but they blocked it and a bt sports tried to use it too!! Strong English accent. Kept going on about liverpool

Claimed to be Revolut Bank but not very convincing. They knew the last four digits of my card and my address. I was very suspicious and hung up.

Pretended to be from Tide saying they’d identified several fraudulent transactions including one from Wedding Planners for £3k. Obviously bollocks. I told them it was a really obvious fraud attempt by them and they immediately terminated the call.

Man called Nigel claiming to be from Tide security, well spoken and extremely convincing, he knew my name and the last 4 digits on my bank card. Caught me off guard whilst I was preoccupied and got almost £4k from me. Said our account had been compromised and need to transfer funds to safe account. Huge Scam! Called regarding my American Express. Sent a text which appeared under the same text message thread as genuine text messages from Amex. Managed to add my card to their Apple Pay and spend £1k on it! Thank god Amex are brilliant at handling these types of things.

SCAM! Apparently some suspicious activity on my Tide account, the woman knew my name and said she'll help me block the card but I said I'll do it myself in the app. Then she asked a couple of questions about the activity on my account and when I said I haven't used it for months and there's no funds on the account she hung up and never called back.

SCAM! Claim to be from TIDE Security. THEY ARE NOT. HANG UP AND BLOCK NUMBER. Abusive also when you call them out also. Must be a group of druggies that can't get a proper job and feel like society owes them a living. SCUM.

Called me as attempts were being made to make payments from my Tide bank account. Told him I would sort it out on the app, he told me there was no need he could do it for me. I declined his very kind offer knowing I closed my Tide account down many months back. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Claiming to be from Tide banking app. Man spoke with a fake "posh" English accent.

Pretending to be Cool Bank, he lost his cool when I refused to play. 100% scam.
