Tax fraud ignore at all cost

Said I was being investigated for tax fraud computerised voice saying press 1 I hung up have put number on Twitter to warn people

Again another scram claiming to be from the tax office about a tax fraud in my name

Poor quality scam - something to do with HMRC

Called wanting money by declaring i was under investigation for tax fraud. Asked to connect to a number. Complete scam. Hopefully by doing this less people will be fooled by it.

Apparantly HMRC income tax fraud. They wanted me to press 1 to sort it out or they would send the boys in blue round. Told them send them as my income is non taxable and HMRC keep giving me rebates.

The message said I had been reported of a tax fraud and that I would be arrested if I didn't respond to the call. I just hung up.

They actually scared me saying i was under tax fruad investigation i handed phone to my husband they soon hung up.

Purporting to be from HMRC threatening computer generated number advising if you don't press 1 they will issue a warrant for your arrest.

Reported as fraudsters claiming to be HMRC reference a warrant for your arrest, unless you pay up, note HM Revenue & Customs, starts by sending you a letter detailing your unpaid tax & offering you a chance to pay it off, a warrant for your arrest will only be issued if you are suspected of tax fraud and they definitely will not phone you first to let you know that they are about to arrest you
