HMRC have opened a fraud case on me - Threat of being arrested if i don't respond. Presuming its a scam.

On picking up the call, A recorded message suggested that a Warrant will be out for "my" arrest, If i did not press "1" to talk about the issue immediately. A recording made by a computer version of a sub-equatorial Asian Indian voice. This is a Hoax. This kind of thing has been done to death in America, With the "IRS" as having arrest warrants, Etc. It's lies, Do not fall for it. Pass this on to other call recognisers.

I got a phone call from the 03002003605 saying that is from HMRC

Stated press 1 or a warrant will be issued re a fraud. Didn’t do anything and call went dead. Recorded message. Scam.

A robot saying that the call comes from HMRC saying that if I don't press 1 I'll get arrested.

Claiming to be HMRC saying I would be arrested for tax evasion if I did not press 1!

Claims a warrant for your arrest will be issued by HMRC for tax fraud if no response.

Recorded message telling me it was HM Customs and there was a tax fraud case registered against me.

It's scam claiming they call on behalf of HMRC telling you about tax fraud. Confirmed with HMRC this is scam.

A Robocall purporting to be from HMRC saying you have a tax fraud registered against you and you must press 1 to be connected to the case officer or they will issue a warrant for arrest.

Claimed to be HMRC, Trying to extort money

Do not press 1. Inland Revenue do not make automatic phone calls!!!!!

Automicated voice saying I was involved in a Tax Fraud case and that if I didn’t press one I would be arrested soon!
