I repeatedly asked who was calling and what about and they refused to tell me. They kept asking me to confirm my name and I absolutely do not confirm my name to any random person who refuses to say who they are. The caller is clearly trained to this and it’s bad practice. I’ve worked as a market research caller back in the day and we were always instructed to introduce ourselves and explain why we were calling right away.
