Sim provider called me to let me know that my phone was ready for an update if I wanted to and asked me to contact them whenever I was ready

Not sure who’s number this is, gave over name and DOB and promised an upgrade but I thought it was fishy so googled it and hung up after seeing numerous people saying the same. Didn’t give bank information. I also checked Vodafone website ‘is this one of our numbers’ section and it isn’t

Caller asked for personal details such as address. when they asked for DOB and I said no then they hung up

Called me 3 times, I called back and the woman said 'have you received a missed call from us' I said yes. They claimed they were from Carphone Warehouse and offered me a good deal for renewing my phone contract. Asked me for personal details then put me hold whilst they got the 'terms and conditions' up. Then I googled their number and saw all the other experiences people have had with this number and hung up and blocked!

Had 5 calls in the last 2 days from this number have no idea how they got my number or my details

Had a call claiming to be currys formally known as carphone warehouse do not fall into their trap i called it back to see who it was then hung up again lol.

Absolute scam - rude behaviour when I started to question the legitimacy- claimed to be carphone warehouse - man sounded like a right nasty piece of work when he realised I wasn’t convinced

I received a great mobile upgrade - but they are not so great at sending out confirmation emails after the conversation. Anyway, I am happy with this deal.

Taking about renewing my phone contract, however misquoted what I am currently paying on my current contract so it's not legit.

Keeps ringing and closing call before I have the time to answer. Checked site assume its a £1. 00p a call callback

100% a scam. They claim to be from Currys and want to give you upgrade of contract after yours has ended (I didn't even get my contract from currys!). Wish I'd told thes idiots where to go but luckily clocked on early and hung up. Please be aware if calling from your provider, they shouldn't ask for details that could be used to access bank accounts or any other personal details that could be used fraudulently.

It's scam. I just received the call. When I asked when my contract is going to end. He cut the phone.

Vodafone Contract Scam, I've been told that my contract has ended knowing that I've got one more year to go. When I've asked them to confirm this via email he refused and started being rude. He was trying to force me to give my details so he can renew my contract and reduce my bill. When I refused it again, He then told me that he will leave a comment for my account that I am happy to continue to pay that much and refusing to change my contract. Bloody scammers. Stay away or don't bother answe
