Trying to say I needed to renew an insurance for sky which I don’t even have

Allegedly calling from Sky Assurance to tell me my insurance on my tv equipment was about to expire today and I would see a cancellation charge of £79 on my bank statement if I didn’t pay today. I laughed at the caller and he became quite aggressive so I continued to laugh and said “I don’t think so”. Asian accent. He said “you’ll see” and hung up. Have now blocked the number.

Apparently from Sky Assured Maintainers. Wanted to confirm my details for renewal of an apparent cover? Greatly reduced price that if I didn’t take I would have to pay £79 cancellation. Asked for details from an obvious Asian accented lady who went by the name of Jenny Williams. I told her my name was Mr Singh at which point I was told to XXXXX off.

SCAM call. Other comments claiming it is Sky are false.

Sky called me and fixed my signal issue

Scam. Previously called from displayed number (means nothing) 0203 807 6770 Claimed to be Sky TV

Same guy called us several times called Neil claiming to be from a Sky asking for credit card details. I told him we’ve reported to Police at which point he hung up.

Called me claiming to be sky. Said I could receive cheaper insurance for my sky box if I paid in a lump sum rather than by monthly direct debit. Wanted my credit or debit card number so they could proceed. Asian sounding lady called herself Anna when I asked for the number to call back on. She gave me this number. On dialing 1471 the number BT did not have callers number. Obvious scam call! I tried to string her along for a few minutes - I cancelled my sky subscription years ago!

Complete scam. I called sky to confirm the number with them and they told me it was a scam. They asked me to share the information. Do NOT give these people your details. Gave the name Sarah and gave a direct line to call her on (the one mentioned) I called back, And it was an overseas ringing tone. Someone called Neil answered and I hung up.

0945 today got a call from Niel purporting to be with SKY AMC and said that my sky equipment breakdown cover had expired. I asked for the web address and phone number. I then told him that I have not been with Sky for over 6 years. SCAM artists

Scam call from 'Sarah xxxxxx' at Sky Amc to renew sky breakdown cover, Need to pay today in FULL TODAY.....! BEWARE, NOTHING TO DO WITH SKY INSURANCE.

Called me to renew my sky break down cover. My Sky protect doesnt expire until April 2019.

The person who claimed he was from sky scammed my uncle by £100 saying they will close his account if he doesn't pay, They knew some of his card number, Expiry date and the back of the card number. We managed to call them back and threatened them with the police so they are going to refund the money!! Let's see

This called my mother asking to renew a Sky subscription, She's never had Sky. Called back to an Asian sounding call centre who stated they would call me back and had my number (my number is always withheld.) Well dodgy.

Didn't pick up but likely one f these trading scams
