Stop spam calls

Male call center agent with strong Indian accent told me he was calling from a news agency "like CNN" and asked me to participate in a "research". When I told him that I was not interested and to remove my number from their list, he replied: "Now we will publish your number everywhere, so many people can call you." When I tried to call that number back, all I got was some music with nobody answering in person.
