I answered a call from this number. Guy said he was from British Gas and that our contract was coming to and end and we needed to renew it. We have no contract with any company for gas. We are a business property and do not use gas. He told me "just you listen to me" and told him no, That he should listen to me. I hung up

EON energy state energy contract about to expire. I'm with SSE and this was renewed last December for 2 years so he is well off the mark there. Again as others have said very heavy Indian accent. I told him I didn't want him to call me and he asked "why mam" UK call centers don't used the terminology MAM....

Told me my business account from my electricity supplier is about to end and tariff will go up. I dont have a physical business as I am mobile. I told him it was a nice try and he laughed. I asked him to confirm my address and he couldn't. I pay my electricity bill direct to my landlord at home so not concerned when he said they might cut me off!

Called 13. 10pm today claiming to be from EON and my energy contract was due to expire. I am not with EON so quite amazing really. Very heavy Indian accent. Do not give them any details or confirm anything, Just ask them to contact you by post and they will already know your address so you dont need to confirm it with them.

Another Pakistani scammer who can barely speak English trying the old electricity scam - this time he is from Eon! Told him he was talking out of his rear end and foxtrot oscar. Keeps ringing back so I just leave him on hold listening to our god awful hold music :)

Called today ~4:55pm, Claiming to be calling from E. ON. I said I don't believe you're E. ON. They insisted they were E. ON.

SCAM. INDIAN OR PAKISTAN CON. FAKE UK NUMBER. THEY WILL TRY TO GET A CARD TRANSACTION OUT OF YOU. ON THE PRETEXT OF BEING AN ENERGY COMPANY. DO NOT! GIVE THEM ANY CARD OR BANK DETAILS.

Asked if i was a business. I wasn't, Then he read me a postcode. I said 'no idea', Then he accused me of lying... Told him where to go and blocked

Phone 5 times said my contract was due when it is not. Said it would take minutes to explain. Said I was not interested & hung up. He kept ringing back immediately told him to f---k off. & he stopped ringing.

For a few weeks he called claiming to be from Total Gas and Power, Saying our contract is due for renewal (it isn't for at least another 2 years, And not with TG&P), Just today he called claiming to be from EON! I give him points for persistance, But minus points for thinking I'm dumber than he is.

Claimed to be from EON... My electricity contract is apparently due for renewal. I explained my contract was not due for renewal. He then asked which supplier I'm with, To which I replied I thought you said I was with EON that's why you're calling? He said if I told him my current supplier he would remove me from the database. A really poor scam, Beware.

Apparently from EDF. Not only did he not rehearse his script, He didn't have a coherent response to my questions. Worst scammer ever. Such time wasters. Having seen the list of victims, Why have they not been tracked down and stopped by the police? How are they allowed to keep operation.

“Your electricity and gas meters are giving the wrong amounts”. Very pushy and became threatening. Next day getting regular silent calls. The TPS used to be useless so I only report to the ICO, But threatening a lady is not on. Maybe the police can act. It’s a shame BT who are profiting from these criminals, Cannot block them quickly.

Called me today and was very rude and sexualy offensive!! When i passed the phone over to my partner, The caller asked if my partner was XXXXX then became very abusive again!! Most bizzare call ever!
