I had a call from this number today, when I was advised that there was a refund of £19 due to me in connection with recent repairs to my washing machine. The caller knew my name and address, and wanted to know how to send the refund amount. I asked her to send me a cheque, and she wanted to. Know my banking details, which I told her were irrelevant since all I required was a cheque issued in my name. On her insistence for my banking details I terminated the call. It seemed a genuine call in the
Today a Silent call. Yesterday the caller said it was to do with my washing machine cover. I asked what my machine was and he said Hotpoint which was incorrect so I hung up.
Third call from this scamming scum, trying to refund £119 on washing machine Insurance, I said you have my name and address - send me a cheque!! No, need reference number from my Bank statement, or washing machine paper work. When did I insure this machine? About three years ago!
My Reply, "I bought the washing machine 6 years ago and have never insured it your scammers"
Man named Henry, Indian accent, calling from 'Greater London' on behalf of a company name I could not even decipher. Asked him to repeat the name like 3 times before I asked what the call was about and he hung up. LOL
100% scam call. Insurance refund for a washing machine. Called her a scammer, she carried on. Told her to post me the refund, she still persevered. Still needs my details, but when I asked her what washing machine was it for she hung up.
Yep - same here. But he said they don't use cheques. He said he had an old bank card with the last 4 digits but that we must have updated it, so he wanted my bank details. I had no such card. He would not give me a telephone number to ring back or write to me with details. I kept him talking for as long as possible but he rang off eventually. I used last number called and rang back and a recorded message says it's TPS Services (??) but no option to speak to anyone or leave a message. Sometimes t
I have received a call from this number 3 times, each time the woman (in very poor English) asked to speak to someone who moved out 15 years ago. I explained this and asked not to be rung again, but the phone is just put down on me.
I was called by this number. Gentleman told me I was due a refund, because I had paid to much on my washing machine cover. The amount was over £100. I do not have such cover. I was asked how would i like the money refunded. I said by cheque. He confirmed my address and then asked for bank details.I said that he did not need these to send me a cheque and he put the phone down.
